CCEE1613 Eiffel Tower Day

Frances is again for her last challenge for the month.

According to the Days of the Year web site today is Eiffel Tower Day. So for our challenge this week let's celebrate all things Parisian …. It could be the Eiffel Tower, French Poodle; Berets; Champagne; Red, White & Blue Color Combo etc.

We'd love to have you play along. All you have to do is create something using the above challenge, and upload it to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword CCEE1613. Don't forget tlink it on Inlinkz on the CCEEblogspot site so that everyone else can see your card too. While you are there check out all the cards left there by the other team members.

Over the last couple of weeks I have had internet connection issues due to an electical storm knocking out my modem. Things are now resolved and I am again a happy camper. I could not find the Eiffel tower in any of my stamps, so I  purchased a dimension sticker set that included it. I stamped the background with Verve and SU stamps. I colored my flowers with copic markers. A song came to mind, "I love Paris in the Springtime!" so decided to add the stamped flowers.

CCEE1612 Celebrating Frances' Birthday

Hi everyone,

It's time for another fun challenge here on CCEE Stampers.

As today is our hostess, Frances' birthday, let's create a card that includes the things she loves … owls and cards that pop up; flip or pull open; accordion style etc. Any type of construction style card will do anything goes but preferably not a flat card this week.

We'd love to have you play along. All you have to do is create something using the above challenge, and upload it to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword CCEE1612. Don't forget to link your card over on the CCEE blog site and go check out all the creations that the other team members have shared to help our dear friend, Frances, celebrate her special day in this special way!!

PS This was especially challenging to me, as I had to create my own owl, and I have never mastered the flip, pop up, or accordion cards.  But just for you, Frances, I made this attempt!!

MOJO440

Loved the new sketch for the MOJO440 challange. The papers are a variety of design papers from a variety of companies. I used some from Basic Grey, Graphics 45, and Recollections. The stamps are from Verve. I used copic markers to color the butterfly.

I am also using thie for the TLC578 challenge on Splitcoaststampers. The challenge was to stack layers.

CCEE1611

Frances is again our hostess this week. Here is the CCEE1611 challenge:

Saturday is Poultry Day. So let's be inspired by Poultry when creating our cards this week… Chickens; Ducks; Turkeys; Geese; Emus; Ostriches etc or Eggs. As Easter is just over a week away, you could create an Easter card but this is optional. Bonus points if you  include Green on your card to celebrate St Patricks Day which is today.

I am late getting this posted as I have been without internet for almost 2 weeks now. Not fun at all!!
Now I am finally back in business!! Hope you will play along with us, and check out the other team members cards over at CCEE blogsite.

I decided these little Easter chicks fit the bill this week. I can't believe it will be Palm Sunday this week.

Just Us Girls Challenge 333

This card is for this challenge for Just Us Girls 333:

I pulled out an old retired stamp from Stampin' Up and gave it a new look. I am also using this card for the CAS 367 challenge on Splitcoaststampers. The vase is a diecut oval cut on the sides. I used my Tim Holtz brick embossing folder for the background.

Today is "I want to Be Happy Day" … who doesn't want to be happy :) and tomorrow is Dress in Blue Day (my favorite color). So for our cards this week let's include the word "Happy" somewhere on your card and also include the color blue.

We'd love to have you play along. All you have to do is create something using the above challenge, and upload it to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword CCEE1609. Don't forget to link it to the CCEEstampers blog   and check out what the rest of the team has created for this challenge.

i loved this happy paper from My Mind's Eye that  reminds me of the song, Blue Skies shining on me, nothing but blue skies do I see!!! The die is from Tim Holtz and I won it as my prize from the October Hope You can Cling to Challenge over on SCS. The butterfly punch is from Martha Stewart. Clean and simple for this one this week. And I hope spring is headed your way!!!
